Just finished A CHURCH CALLED TOV: Forming a Goodness Culture That Resists Abuses of Power and Promotes Healing by Scot McKnight and Laura Barringer. Insightful and penetrating analysis of our current church culture and how it’s been transformed by business and success models in ways that hide or even foster abusive and destructive attitudes and actions. Spring-boarding off personal knowledge and media attention (without unnecessary detail), they offer a positive model for becoming Christlike as not only individuals but as churches.
