Check-In is simply using 1-2 words to let someone or a group know what emotion you are experiencing in the moment. Then give a 30-45 second explanation as to why you are feeling that specific emotion or feeling. We do Check-In rounds using SASHET: Sad, Angry, Scared, Happy, Excited, Tender.
This week's relational health challenge:
Take a moment each day to sit still and quiet.
Take out a pen and paper and check in with yourself.
Ask yourself: "how am I feeling today and why am I feeling that specific emotion?"
Write down your response.
