Have we been missing something in the way we respond to one another in the Church? 🤔
Elders play a vital role in helping us heal hurt, prevent harm, and remember who we are. But for too long, we've leaned on telling people how to live rather than showing them what love looks like in action.
Responding well isn’t just about managing emotions—it’s about modeling a way of being that fosters true connection. The world won’t recognize us by our sermons, strategies, or structures—but by our love for one another. And love is best learned when it’s seen and experienced, not just preached.
It’s time for elders to rise again—not to demand change, but to demonstrate a different way.
